		Barn Model The Barn Model is the first barn owl box designed to fit into the side of either a metal or wooden barn and still keep the owls and pest species from access to the interior of the barn. After a 17.5" square is cut into the barn wall, the box slides in and is fastened to the barn wall from the outside. An expanding foam gasket seals any gaps created by reinforcing ridges to keep weather and pest species out. The lid is then attached with six bolts. 		Pole Model The Pole Model comes with a galvanized-metal mounting-bracket that attaches easily to the top of a wooden 4 x 4, 6 x 6, or to the flange on a metal pole. This model is designed to be installed in full sun and stay close to ambient temperature. To accomplish this it uses special reflective pigment and an efficient venting system. 		The E-Z Nest Box Pole - Galvanized Field tested for two years, this is the simplest, easiest pole design for erecting a barn owl box. Consists of a four-foot 1.25” diameter base iron pipe, two four-foot 1” diameter pipes, a 1” coupling, pipe glue, and a 1 " floor flange for attaching the nest box. 		The Screech Owl Box The Barn Owl Box Company incorporates many of the unique features of the Barn Owl Box to create a cutting edge nest box for screech owls. Like the Barn Owl Box, the Screech Owl Nest Box is constructed of rugged, long-lasting, rotomolded plastic, yet is so lightweight at 5.5 pounds that it can be carried in one hand for easy mounting. One difference is that the Screech Owl Box is bark-brown. The brown color helps conceal the box and allows it to blend into the natural environment of trees where nest boxes are best installed. Features include rainproof wing-vents, an access panel for viewing nest contents and cleaning the nest box, drain holes in the floor, a large rain guard over the entrance hole, an interior mesh ladder to the entrance hole, and a unique bracket system that allows easy mounting to a tree. (The steel bracket provided that is nailed to tree, post, or building, with four bolts protruding outward. The nest box is then positioned over the bolts, and washers and nuts are tightened on the inside of the box, using the access panel. This prevents having to hold the nest box while attempting to attach it.) The Barn Owl Box will not rot, will not need rebuilt or replaced, and will last indefinitely. Its light weight makes it easy to install, whether on a post, in a barn, or a tree, and each model comes with its own mounting hardware.

Each box features a 5 1/2" entrance hole, a 4" x 8" landing ledge, a removable front, and a Plexiglas viewing window in the rear. Vent holes bring fresh air into the box, and holes in the floor drain away moisture.
