United States Distributors
Currently, many of our distributors are in California. This reflects the huge amount of agriculture in the state, especially vineyards and orchards, but it also reflects the progressive nature of the state’s farmers. Nor does this mean that California is the only state where distributors would prosper: Washington and Oregon farmers in the northeastern U.S. are utilizing barn owls to a great degree; the entire southwest has excellent populations of barn owls, as does the entire southern United States, including Florida. We are proud to announce the addition of our first Nevada distributor, Country Equipment in Lovelock. As awareness spreads regarding the use of barn owls in integrated pest management, these areas too will see a surge in natural rodent control methods. We welcome new distributors in these areas.

Lovelock, Nevada: Country Equipment, located an hour and a half from Reno in the heart of hay-growing country, sells a wide variety of farm equipment. Barn owls are common throughout the agricultural areas of the state, and often nest in hay bales in large numbers. Their nests are often disturbed when the hay is loaded for shipment. Providing nest boxes allows these owls to work for the local farmers in reducing the prodigious numbers of rodents that hay and other crops attract. |
